About the Event
The shift towards customer centricity and digital transformation is shaping how we engage with customers, innovate products and services. User Experience Design plays a significant role to create value for customers and businesses. By using Design Thinking alongside methods from lean startup and agile development, companies could create remarkable innovative solutions and unlock the maximum value for their customers.
Day 1- 21st November 9 am – 12 pm
Design Thinking, Lean startup, Agile and User Experience are all design related and in this session you will explore how and why User Experience Design is an interdisciplinary field that mixes creative disciplines with psychology and software engineering.

Day 2- 22nd November 9am – 12 pm *Limited seating
User experience can make or break a business, and creating great user experiences isn't as simple as it seems. Through examples, this deep dive session will explore topics of UX concepting, quick means of prototyping, information architecture, interaction design, UX evaluation, role of A/B testing and optimization, and many others. This will be a highly interactive and engaging workshop.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
User Experience Design by Paulien Strijland
After an international career building and leading Experience Design teams at Apple, PayPal, Yahoo, Nokia, and Hewlett Packard, Ms. Strijland now runs Design4Good. A boutique consulting firm solving problems at the intersection of Technology and Design and accelerating innovation with a positive social impact. Clients include:The Brightlands Innovation Factory where she helps entrepreneurs by combiningthe best of Design Thinking with Lean Startup methodologies. Governmental organizations, where she applies Design methods to societal challenges and advices on the impact of digitization. Last but not least, she contributes to various educational institutions as a member of advisory boards, and guest lecturer.Ms. Strijland holds a BSC and MSC in industrial design from Delft University of Technology.
